Gateway is an international, evangelical, residential community committed to a holistic educational process of formal, nonformal, and informal learning. 

Gateway Missionary Training Centre is located in beautiful, rural Langley, British Columbia. The school sits on 5 acres of agricultural land. We enjoy the beauty and bounty of God’s creation surrounded by mountains, with apple trees, blueberry bushes, wild berries, and chickens on our property. 

Every staff member is a missionary (religious worker) who receives no salary and is responsible for his/her own support.  There are currently 7 people on staff. The student population varies each session.  
Gateway is a ministry of WEC International (Worldwide Evangelization for Christ) Canada, a registered Canadian charity.  It is the North American Missionary Training Centre (MTC) for WEC.  WEC International is an inter-denominational faith founded by C.T. Studd over 100 years ago.  WEC has missionaries from 50 different nationalities working in over 70 countries around the globe.  

However, Gateway trains missionaries from several different agencies. Gateway training is open to ALL evangelical mission agencies and churches. Gateway is not a candidate course for joining WEC International.
